I love suppers that leave me few dishes and little mess. This one passes my approval. I change it each time I make it, and its one of those "eyeball" kind of recipes but I will try to give amounts! Depending on how much veggies you can sneak in... add or take away veggies.

Meat & Rice
Onion, diced
Garlic, finely chopped
Pepper, dices
Carrot, diced
Celery, diced
1 1/2 lb ground meat
1 1/2 cup (brown) rice
spices (salt, pepper, etc)
tomato Sauce
3 (4) cup water

Saute onion,
Add remaining veggies,
Allow to saute until onions are clear
Add meat, and brown.
Throw in rice.
Toss in spices
Pour in sauce and water.
Bring to a boil.
Cover pot & simmer on low flame until rice is ready (45 min)
You may need to add water
