Purim in Hawaii was a huge success. Thanks to all the women who came to help repare. My good friend Jodi the Chef, prepared a delcious menu, and it was delicious.

Aloha Potatoes
2 Sweet potatoes
2 Regular potatoes
1/4 purple onion
1/3 cup margarine or butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
Coconut flakes 

Cook potatoes, peel and cut into large cubes.
Place potatoes in bowl or platter.
Season potatoes with salt, pepper and chives.
Bring margarine and sugar to a boil. 
Pour over potatoes.
Mix gently until the liquid is evenly spread.
Sprinkle with coconut
