I serve these with the main course, though I have been told that they are more of a dessert. Try them and use them at whatever part of the meal you want, they will be finished!

Carrot Blueberry Kugel
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 ‐ 1 cup oil
4 eggs
4 cups shredded carrots
1 can blueberry pie filling.
 
Combine first 4 ingredients.
Add oil, eggs and carrots.
Grease 12 mini tart pans and pour in mixture 

Put it in 1 tsp pie filling in the center of each tartlet 
Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes or until ready.

Or you can make it in two 9" rounds and put the pie filling in the center and one ring around, then go in and out of the center with the knife, it comes out like a flower on top of your kugel.
